Dr. V. Janaki Tenneti is a Professor of Management with 30 years of teaching and research experience. She is passionate observant of society & individuals and sustainable practices that ensure resilience of both.
⇰ She holds two doctorates first one from School of Economics, University of Hyderabad for working on women grain procurement centers of Telangana and the empowerment they attained in various fronts owing to the capacity building in handling the market operations.
⇰ Her second doctorate is from Business Management department of Dravidian University for establishing pathways of empowerment of women based on the life choices. Her research proved that the path of empowerment for the women who take up enterprising activities starts from within her and for others it is due to collectivism.
⇰With a great interest towards building a strong and sustainable Nation with very enthusiastic, energetic and empowered youth she looked towards working on NEP 2020, experiential learning and sustainable development. As Senior Consultant of Academic Research – Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE) – Ministry of Education (Government of India), she mentored and monitored the Nation level Research Program on curriculum redesign by infusing experiential learning methodologies in collaboration with SCERTs and Schools of Education of various Universities across the country. She worked extensively on motivating faculty and scholars for generating new kind of lesson plans with the theme of teaching the lesson through making students work in some vocation.
⇰ She authored many research papers published in various national and international journals and also two books. As leadership is her favorite topic and Indian literature and culture is in her heart, she went into deep research of Indian Ancient Wisdom to bring out few precious pearls of wisdom that suit for modern day management of enterprises. She worked and published papers entitled “Sthitha Pragna: Marvel of Transformational Model from Indian Ancient Wisom” and ‘The Model of Human Effort prescribed by Indian Wisdom – An Extract from Yogavasishta”.
⇰ She has been felicitated with ‘Women Leader – Education’ Award in Indo-UAE Conference organized in Dubai in January, 2023. She was felicitated with ‘Active Educationist Award’ by ESN publications in the year 2022..

⇰ Started career at HAL Bengaluru as an intern, then with an IT firm SSG as HR and later associated with various educational institutions like Aurora Hyderabad, Pondicherry and Aligarh Universities at Delhi, Amity University, Noida, GD Goenka University, Gurgaon.
⇰ She presented many papers on HR and other functional areas connecting HR at National and International level conferences which are being published in refereed Management journals. ⇰ Served as Volunteer for 7 years from 2016 till recently with Jestha free school,(jesthaprimaryfreeschool.com/JPFS/jsps/ak_roy.jsp),Gurgaon and teach less privileged students, encourage them to participate in extra-curricular activities and continuing education.
